Bart Bartikowsky Obituary

WARMINSTER, PA. — Leonard (Bart) Bartikowsky, Ann's Choice, Warminster, Pa., passed away Oct. 19, 2013, at the age of 87 at Abington Hospice, Warminster, Pa.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Bernard and Camilla (Tintner) Bartikowsky and was a graduate of Meyers High School, Wilkes-Barre. After high school, Bart served in the Navy in World War II from 1944-46 and in the Korean War from 1950-52. After the war, he attended Penn Wharton School and Wilkes College and was Vice President of Bartikowsky Jewelers, a family owned business, until his retirement in August 1993. He was a member of Temple Israel, Wilkes-Barre, Jewish War Veterans, Dream Mile fly-fishing club, Blakeslee, and other local organizations before moving to Warminster. Bart always had a joke to tell, a funny, witty story and a great sense of humor. All who knew him mourn his loss.

To the Bartikowski family. Our family is sorry for your loss. It is hard to go through this difficult time, but it's good to know that we keep in our heart all the good moments, love, and care that we share with our loved ones. Romans 8:38, 39 says that nothing …. not even death is be able to separate us from God's love.
