FORTY FORT — Chardell Narcum, RN, 94, of Forty Fort, passed away peacefully on Aug. 5, 2022.
Born August 14, 1927 in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Magnus and Florence Meighan Gardner.
Her husband, George M. Narcum, died on May 11, 1964, and a son George M., Jr., died on November 14, 2016. Sisters Betty Collins and Jeanne Williamson and brothers James and John Gardner also preceded her in death.
Her children Patricia (Barry Gately) Kupstas, Catherine (Donald) Wolfe, Maribeth (Joseph) Sheehan, Jean (Dr. Michael Kerchner) Narcum, Paul Narcum, and Nancy (Howard) Pope; grandchildren Edward, Jeff, Chad, Bridget, Kristine, Paul, Benjamin, Kael, Maguire, and Elle; great-grandchildren Edward, William, Evelyn, and Silas; brother William (Ursula) Gardner; other family and friends will miss her very much.
Chardell's family is celebrating her life privately.
Donations to Allied Services Hospice Center, 200 S. Meade St., Wilkes-Barre, Pa. 18702, will honor Chardell's memory.

My sympathies to Chardell´s family. I knew Chardell while working at Mercy Hospital. Great lady, superb nurse. Always was a pleasure to talk with her.
