I am amazed that I did not hear of this for so long. Although we have been out of touch all these years, Chuck and I were best buds back in the day. We met in college, and he introduced me to my wife, and was our best man. I have missed him and periodically looked him up to check on him. He is missed and I am greatly saddened by the news. I am sorry that we fell out of touch. God bless you, Kohl. And Smile Away, wherever you may be...

I have found it hard to think about Chuck, with out having a tear in my eye. This morning is one of those times. Chuck was special to me. Very special. We spent 4 years at Lewis, studied together, partied together, and cried together. Chuck and Don were my 2 closest friends for over 20 years. And, the 3 of use were bound at the hip. I wish you were still here. Without you, I never would of finished medical school. You were there when I had nothing left. I wish, I could of been there for you. Love you my brother, and miss you.

I used to pass a football around with chuckie in front of Sancta Alberta chapel at Lewis University. I kept in touch with chuckie up to about a year ago. What a creative and interesting person, I will miss him and pray for him.

My sincerest condolences go out to your entire family. I have wonderful memories of Chuck, silly ones, that will always bring a warm smile to my face. Though the pain may be great right now, try to be comforted knowing that his Dad was waiting for him with open and loving arms.
May God bless you and know that you will always be in our prayers.
