Charles "Chuck" Stephen Tengowski, 77, of Bridgeport, W.Va., passed away Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born in Larksville, Pa., on Sept. 24, 1947, the son of the late Stephen S. and Stacia Bala Tengowski.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sandra May Tengowski; and one son, Shaun Tengowski, of Nashville, Tenn.
Chuck was a 1965 graduate of Larksville High School, Pa. Following school, he served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a supervisorial fingerprint examiner and retired as a N.I.C.S. supervisor with the Federal Bureau of Investigations with 33 years of service.
Chuck loved baseball and was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates and Washington Redskins fan. He enjoyed watching WVU sports, fishing and mowing the lawn. He tried golfing three times, but it was not for him.
In keeping with his wishes, Chuck will be cremated.
A gathering of family and friends will be announced at a later date.
