I knew Dr. Gordon from the time I was a little girl through his lovely daughter, Lindsay. He was always such a nice gentleman, who clearly loved his family and his work. Now, after reading his obituary, I see what a truly giving person he was and how he has made the community in which he lives so much better. We are all fortunate to have know Dr. Gordon and we are glad his beloved daughters and their families and his beloved wife continue to live giving lives, too.

Meeting Dan Gordon last year was a very special privilege. For me, he represented an important part of our family's history. I will always remember the first words he said to me - with tears in his eyes! "Oh my G-d! You look like a Bloom!" Truer words were never spoken. What a sweet man. May his memory be a blessing to his family and friends.

To the Gordon family, sincere condolences. Dr. Gordon was my dentist for many years. I remember his offices at the corner of South Franklin and Northampton Streets as well as on South Main Street. He was a very dear friend of my late father, Dr. Bob Berman, who always referred to him as "Danny." Fittingly, Bob's yahrzeit is tonight (9/8). Also, my late mother Lydia grew up with Dr. Gordon in Nanticoke, and graduated Nanticoke High School one year later than him. She always talked about a school play they were in together. Again, I'm very sorry for your loss.
