Dennis L. Irace, born Dec. 4, 1946, U.S. Army (retired), passed away at the age of 77, on Dec. 6, 2023, at U.F. Health, Leesburg, Florida, with his wife of 53 years, Jean Irace, by his side.
Dennis attended West Pittston High School, and Penn State campus. Before moving to Florida, Dennis and Jean lived in the Old Boston area of Jenkins Township, Pa.
Prior to his military career, he worked for Bellante Clauss, Miller & Nolan architectural firm in Scranton, Pa., and Smith Miller Associates in Kingston, Pa. During his military career, he received numerous awards and accolades for which he was very proud. He always said the military was the best thing that ever happened to him.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Dorothy (Daggett) Irace; brothers: Dorman, Delbert, Keith and Robert; sisters: Ann and Diana. Dennis is survived by his wife Jean (Stuchko) Irace; sister, Dixie Corcoran, Bridgewater, N.J.; brother, Richard Irace and his wife Ann, of Wilkes-Barre, Pa.; and nieces and nephews.
Dennis was a lifetime member of the DAV, American Legion and the VFW. Please consider a donation to the Parkinson's Foundation in Dennis's memory.
