Donald Lewis Obituary
Donald S. Lewis Sr., 76, of Carverton, passed away Monday morning at his home. Born in Kingston, he was a son of the late Harold and Elma Porter Lewis. He was a graduate of Dallas High School. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Diamond Manufacturing for 37 years. Donald was a member of the Orange United Methodist Church, Wyoming Masonic Lodge No. 468, F. & A.M. and the Irem Shriners, where he was a member of the Motor Corps for 37 years. Surviving are his wife of 20 years, the former Helen Booth; children, Donald Lewis Jr. and his wife, Lynn, Kunkle, and William and his wife, Debbie, Wyoming; step-children, Harry Reese and his wife, Michelle, Plymouth; Theresa Jordan, Plymouth; Richard Reese and his wife, Sharon, Plymouth; Edward Reese and his wife, Shonda, Shavertown, and Carol Proleika and her husband, Edward, West Nanticoke; brother, Clark Lewis, Dallas; 12 grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Metcalfe and Shaver Funeral Home Inc., 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, with the Rev. Leslie Halchak, of the Orange United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Carverton. Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children Office of Development, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.

Rest in peace, Don. You are in the hands of God and free of sickness and pain. I will always remember what a great friend you were to me and my family. I will always cherish the fond memories of the past, the cracking of your jokes and the half smile you gave when you thought you pulled one over on us.
