Donald Parrish Obituary
He was born in Ashley, on July 23, 1925, a son of the late George M. and Helen Mood Parrish. He was a graduate of Ashley High School. He was a peacetime veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps.
He was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church, Ashley. He was an avid fan of all Ashley High School sports for many years.
He will be remembered for his kind and gentle nature and will be missed by his friends at the B’nai B’rith Apartments.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Joan M. Parrish, who died July 6, 2006.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Eleanor Roleski.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at noon from the George A. Strish Inc. Funeral Home, 105 N. Main St., Ashley, with the Rev. Carol E. Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call on Monday, from 10 a.m. to noon.
