Donna D. Armstrong, 81, of the Lee Park section of Hanover Township, passed away Monday, March 23, 2026, in the emergency room at Geisinger Wyoming Valley.
Born and raised in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Vera Erwine Partington. She was a graduate of Plymouth High School.
Donna worked as a tax preparation specialist, but was primarily a housewife and mother. She enjoyed yard sales, shopping, and spending time with her family and pets. A lifelong learner, she was an avid reader and a proud member of the Book Club. She also participated in the Birthday Club and the German‑American Club, which brought her joy and lasting friendships.

Her journeys took her across the world, including Australia, Germany, Amsterdam, England, Scotland, France, Belgium, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Canada, Wales, Ireland, Hawaii, and many other destinations throughout the United States. She spent several months living in Wales, Scotland, and France, embracing each place with curiosity and appreciation. During her time in Europe, she toured more than 33 castles, a testament to her love of history, culture, and exploration.
She belonged to the First Primitive Methodist Church in Plymouth and, in earlier years, volunteered extensively for the Lee Park Boys League and Lee Park Elementary PTA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Nicholas Cardimona in 1972, and Joseph Armstrong in 2023; brother, Donald Partington; sister, Sandra Partington; mothers-in-law, Helen Cardimona and Anna Armstrong; sister-in-law, Margaret Armstrong; and brother-in-law, Donald Griffiths.
