Betty was more than a sister to me, she was my surrogate mother who watched over me in my early years because Annie, our mother, had a full time job in the factory. That bond lasted us forever. We will always remember her as gracious, welcoming us into her home often and providing good food and conversation. She raised four wonderful children and did so in the public limelight of professional sports. Finally, she was one smart cookie. In all our recent conversations, she was up to date on sports, Hollywood and politics. Rest in peace dear Sister. Doris (Dee) Sickler

I have been Betty's hair stylist for the last 11 years or so.What a wonderful person she was. I always enjoyed the talks we had in the Salon and all the good advise she has given me over the years. I will truly miss her. My deepest sympathy to her family. Hold on to the wonderful memories.

I knew Betty as a neighbor in Swoyersville. Betty always had had a pretty smile for everyone. My thoughts and prayers are with Betty's children, whom I never knew. My sympathies go out to Betty's sisters, Anna Mae and Doris whom I did know. Betty, rest in Peace!

To Mary Ann, Paul and all the family,
I am so sorry about your loss. I remember your mom from many visits to your home on Karen Dr. She always made us kids feel welcomed and appreciated. I know her absence will leave a big hole but through your memories, she will live on.
With much love,

To the Michaels family,
Your Mom was a beautiful person outside and in. She always brought a smile to my deceased husband's face and mine when we met at reunion functions. Keep her spirit in you hearts.
