Elizabeth J. "Betty" Smith, 70, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Jan. 29, 2026, at her home. She was born in Wilkes-Barre, a daughter of the late Elmer and Ann Fairchild Smith.
Betty was a 1973 graduate of Meyers High School and worked as a waitress for many years at the Hart Restaurant, Boscov's, and Haystacks. She had a lifetime love of red Fords and house rabbits.
Surviving are her daughter, Amber Williams, and her husband, Speed, Wilkes-Barre Township; grandchildren, Luke and Roselle; sisters, Roberta Trimble and husband, Ronald; Rebecca Shaffer and husband, Eric; and brother, David Smith and wife, Kimberly.
Private funeral services will be held.
