My grandparents ( Walsh) lived across the street from the Davis so i got to know Evie at a very early age. Walked with him to the field next to Chapel to watch him practice the javelin ( sometimes i would carry it ). Every greeting over the many years was accompanied with a smile, handshake, a hand on my shoulder and "how are you doing Bobby". I will miss those occasions.
