Yesterday
Frankie as we called him was my mentor in many ways. It was he that encouraged me to study the Clarinet while in 4 th Grade. We played together with the Meyer's HS Band until the 8th Grade when my family moved.
His sister Manuela and I were close friends & walked to Meyers together and my mother purchased brooms from Frank's Father..
As a child, I delivered newspapers and often his proud parents would delay my deliveries to play a tape of Frank' prior evening "gig".
I too am proud to have known him and because I played the Clarinet & Tenor Sax sem-professionall
I'll never forget gathering around the radio waiting for Ted Mack. Frank's rendition of the 12 th Ra has been indelible in my mind forever.
In conclusion, one can say Frankie change my life!

May the Good Lord Bless you at this time. I remember Frank when he used to play in my father's band, Jolly Joe and the Bavarians. He was one heck of a clarinet player!!!
