SHICKSHINNY — Helen McClain, 81, of Shickshinny, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2022.
She was born in Hanover Township, the daughter of the late Peter and Veronica Kuc Cmiech.
She was a graduate of Lake Lehman High School. She was an avid NASCAR fan, and loved animals.
She was preceded in death by her husband Keith, in 1985; and siblings: John, Peter and Casimir Cmiech; and Veronica Skibinski.
Surviving are: her son, Keith and his fiancé Kelly, of Shickshinny; grandchildren: Blake Farmer and his fiancé Angela; Zane Farmer and his wife Jamie; Lillian Bower and her husband Derek; Olivia Cokely and husband Alec; 10 great-grandchildren; nephew, Brian Cmiech; niece, Linda Jablonski.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, at 1 p.m., from the Charles L. Cease Funeral Home, 634 Reyburn Road, Shickshinny, with the Rev. Charles Warwick, chaplain of Residential Hospice, officiating.
Interment will be in Bloomingdale Cemetery, Ross Township. Friends may call on Wednesday, from 11 a.m. until time of service.
