DALLAS — Jane Stepanik, of Dallas, passed away late Wednesday, May 25, 2022, in the Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation, Dallas.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Catherine McLaughlin and was a proud graduate of Hanover High School, Class of 1954, where she was a majorette. She loved spending time with her family, gardening and cooking. She enjoyed working a few days a week to stay busy and her last employment was at CVS in Dallas.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Stepanik, and brother Frederick McLaughlin.
Jane is survived by her daughter, Susan Miller and her husband, Paul, of Dallas; John Stepanik, of Dallas; two grandsons, Matthew Malak and his wife, Marina, of Mohrsville; Peter Malak, of North Carolina, and two nephews, Fred and Steve McLaughlin, of Williamsport.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson St., Larksville, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation from 9 a.m. until time of service.
Family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Meadows, second floor, for the kindness and love they gave to Jane over the years. Their care was greatly appreciated.

I worked with Jane at CVS in Dallas many years ago but I have very fond memories of her and always will. She was such a great lady and coworker. To the family and friends, may she rest in peace. So very sorry for your loss
