It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeff Humenick, who left us on June 2, 2025.
Jeff was born in Hazleton, Pa., and was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend to all who knew him. A 1981 graduate of Bishop Hafey High School, Jeff went on to study chemical engineering at Penn State University. He built a distinguished career at Westlake Plastics, where he served as director of operations. But it was at his very first job that Jeff met the love of his life, Theresa. They shared 35 wonderful years of marriage and raised three devoted sons: Patrick, Matthew and Zachary.
Jeff was predeceased by his mother, Patricia. He is survived by his father, Frank Humenick; and his sisters: Melani Majusiak, Cindy Baade and Sandy Gestl.
A true enthusiast of the Miami Dolphins and an avid golfer, Jeff was also known for his creativity in building projects — from transforming his basement to designing decks and cultivating his garden. Above all, Jeff found his greatest joy in being a father. He was most passionate about raising his sons to be strong, confident men.
Jeff's presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone he touched.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Jude's Church, Mountain Top. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call on Monday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations made to the American Heart Association organization at www.heart.org.
