SHAVERTOWN — Joan M. Ribaudo, 48, of Shavertown, Pa., passed away surrounded by family on Oct. 13, 2023, after a long fight with cancer.
Born Sept. 3, 1975, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., she is the daughter of the late Jerry and Joan Fustin. Joan was a 1993 graduate of Pittston Area and W-B Vo-Tech. She was the proud co-owner of ABC Hauling for 30 plus years.
Joan loved to travel with family and friends. She loved being a wife and mother; and most recently she became a proud grandmother.
Joan is survived by her husband of 27 years, Ron Ribaudo; children, Liam (Brittnee), Texas, Ronnie (Annie) Kingston, Pa., and Jagger (Ali), Kingston; sisters, Darlene Hoover (Joe), Pittston, Corinne Winter (Ray), Alabama, Alice Helfrich, Alabama; brothers, Shawn Coolbaugh (Julie), West Pittston, Kenneth Coolbaugh (Helen) Swoyersville, Jerry Fustin (Susan), Arkansas, Robert Fustin, Florida; first grandson, Colt Michael Ribaudo, son of Ronnie and Annie.
As per Joan's wishes, there will be no services or viewing. She asked that family spread her cremains off of a cruise ship and some at the campground where she loved spending her time.
