Bonnie Jean Ribaudo, a beacon of warmth and kindness, passed away unexpectedly on October 29, 2025, due to a sudden medical event. Born on August 7, 1973, in New York, Bonnie's zest for life and her infectious smile touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She departed from this world in Brick, NJ, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Bonnie's early years in New York were filled with the laughter and joy that would become the hallmark of her life. Her educational journey took her to the University of Vermont and later the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she not only pursued academic excellence but also forged lifelong friendships and explored her love for the natural world.
Her passion for the great outdoors was evident to all who knew her. Bonnie found solace and excitement in hiking through uncharted trails, camping under the stars, and attending concerts that celebrated the beauty of the open air. Her adventurous spirit also led her to travel, seeking out new experiences and cultures that enriched her understanding of the world and its diverse inhabitants.
Bonnie's Christian faith was the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her through life's trials and tribulations with grace and fortitude. It was this faith that shone brightly in her interactions with others, as she approached everyone she met with a loving heart and a friendly demeanor.
At home, Bonnie's presence was a source of comfort and joy. She is predeceased by her adoring mother, Bonnie Scala (Tom) and her father, Charles Ribaudo (Theresa). She is survived by her devoted partner, Jason Linam, who stood by her side in love and companionship. Her brother Charles Ribaudo and his wife Christine, along with her cherished nephew and niece, Daniel and Charlotte Ribaudo, will forever hold dear the memories of her kindness and the special moments they shared. Bonnie's Uncle Charles Reilly and his partner Scott, Aunts Kitty Reilly and her partner Penny, and Anne Marie Ribaudo Padula and her husband Anthony, will miss her deeply. The bond she shared with her cousins, Emerald Linskog and her husband Brian, Deborah Genna and her husband Frank, and Lorri Carroll and her husband John, was built on a foundation of mutual affection and respect, and her absence will be profoundly felt by them.
Bonnie's life was a testament to the power of love and the strength of friendships. Her ability to connect with people on a deep and meaningful level made her a cherished friend and confidant to many. The words loving, kind, and friendly only begin to scratch the surface of describing a woman whose soul was as beautiful as the natural wonders she so adored.
As we bid farewell to Bonnie Jean Ribaudo, we celebrate the time we were fortunate enough to share with her. Though her departure from our lives was too soon, the memories we carry will continue to inspire us to live with the same generosity of spirit that she embodied every day. Bonnie's light may have dimmed on this Earth, but the love she spread will continue to glow in the hearts of those she touched. Her spirit, like the trails she loved to explore, will go on forever in the wilderness of our memories, guiding us through our own journeys with her unwavering love as our compass.
