John William Balliet, 78, of Nuangola, passed away on Sept. 29, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on Nov. 15, 1946, in Nuangola, John remained a proud lifelong resident of the community he loved.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Sharon Balliet, and his beloved daughters: Renae Utz (Christopher), Nicole Fijalkovic (Craig), Michele Balliet (Steven Williams), Danielle Weaver (Michael). John was a proud grandfather to Casey, Andrew, Sophia, Remy and Sadie.

He is also survived by his brothers, Edwin Balliet (Gloria) and William Balliet (Jane), along with many cherished nieces and nephews.
