We are deeply saddened that on Dec. 22, 2022, John Leo Green, 73, took his final flight to be with the Lord, surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Judy Green, together they shared 33 years of marriage.
In addition to his wife, John will be dearly missed by his daughter, Megan Green DeWitt, and her husband, Jeremy of Richmond, Va.; his stepdaughter, Traci Stahl and her husband Derek of Delray Beach, Fla.; his two granddaughters: Charlotte and Savannah DeWitt; and many other extended family and friends. John was proceeded in death by his father and mother: John L. Green and Joan McGroarty Green; and his sister, Bonnie L. Green.
A service to Celebrate the Life of John L. Green will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, Jan. 28, at Wetzel Funeral Home, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, Pa. A time to share memories with the family will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to RTAG (www.RTAG.org), which serves as the catalyst for the careers of veterans in the world of aviation.

John was a wonderful gentleman to fly with. I spent many hours in the cockpit of the 747 with him. God speed.
