John E. Smolinski, 65, of Nanticoke, died July 3, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday from Dinelli Family Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad St., Nanticoke. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to service time.

John, You were always the Love of my life The times we shared will always stay with me. You were a Dad to Chrissy when she needed one the most. Your heart was so big and so loving . Even though we haven't spoken in awhile, you have always been on my mind. I still love you. Rest in peace.

John, you are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to begin, ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Farewell fellow veteran.
