Josephine Dunn Obituary
Born in Jessup, she was the daughter of the late Beladino and Joanna Sebastinalli Bonanni.
She was employed as a sewing-machine operator for Jean Dress of Hilldale until her retirement, and was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Pittston.
Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, Chester, on Sept. 27, 1992, who was a survivor of the Knox Mine Disaster; granddaughter Karisa Spunar on April 26, 1994; son-in-law Donald Dove on Oct. 13, 2006; brother Paul Bonanni; sisters Pauline Teberrio, Nancy Lini, Anna Caprari, Maggie Pateriani and Jenny Ostopick.
Surviving are her daughters, Bernadetta Ledoretti and her husband, Joseph, Hudson; Josephine Dove, Fort Meyers, Fla.; Irene Filippini and her husband, Bob, Hilldale; grandchildren Joseph Ledoretti and his wife, Patti, Cheryl Ennen; Lisa Watson and her husband, Bill; Brenda Rice and her husband, Greg; great-grandchildren Jenna Ledoretti; Amber Rhump and her husband, Dave; Calaylah Rice; and Taylor Ennen; nephews and nieces.
Funeral will be held at 8:45 a.m. Saturday from the Corcoran Funeral Home, 20 S. Main St., Plains Township, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Pittston. Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Carverton.
Friends may call Friday afternoon from 4 to 7 p.m.
Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to Hospice Care of the VNA, 80 E. Northampton St., Wilkes-Barre.

My deepest sympathy to the entire family. "Peppa was a wonderful lady who made the best ravioli and capaletti! My Grandmother Santa Mattei thought of her as a sister. She was extremely thoughtful to my family, especially my mother who claims "Peppa" was like a second mother to her, and remembers only the best of times in life with her! She will be deeply missed and thought of often.
