Lamar Dawson Obituary
KINGSTON — Lamar Michael Dawson, 27, of Kingston, left us Wednesday morning, June 17, 2015, to go home with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Lamar was born on Feb. 14, 1988, and was the son of Joanne Savinski.
Lamar was a 2006 graduate of GAR High School. He was employed at Mohegan Sun Pocono, as a table games dealer, where he just received his five-year pin for his dedicated service, as an excellent employee.
Lamar loved life and his family and friends.
Being a multi-talented guy, he excelled in mechanics, he was a mathematical genius, an electronics whiz and even tailored and designed his own Halloween costumes. Basically, he was a jack of all trades. He loved music, BMX riding, his job, his kitty, Ciroc, the thrill of riding his sport bike, but most of all the love of his life, Kelly.
He was proceeded in death by his grandmother, Barbara Hetro; and cousin, Levi Evarts.
Lamar is survived by his mother, Joanne Savinski, Kingston; sisters, Erika Savinski, Kingston, and Sharae Thompson, Wilkes-Barre; grandfathers, George Hetro, West Wyoming, Al Savinski and his wife, Eileen, Pittston; several aunts and uncles; one niece; and one nephew.
Lamar was loved deeply and will be sadly missed by all.
Memorial services will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Metcalfe-Shaver-Kopcza Funeral Home, 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, with a prayer service immediately following.

Lamar, you were an angel on earth, and loved deeply by all who knew you. Your smile lit up a room. Your charisma was like no other.
