Although I am out of town, I extend my sincere condolensces to the entire Threston family. My relationship with Leonard goes back to the 50's when I palyed basketball with him at the Plymouth playground and worked at Golden Quality Ice Cream with his dad. After college I taught and coached with him at Lake Lehman from 1966-70. Our paths crossed many times and I always had a great time with him. In the 70's, I taught his sisted at Nanticoke. I have many fond memories of the Threston Family. GOD BLESS! Wayne Thomas PHS '61

My condolences to the Thresten family. I am very sorry for your loss.
Coach Thresten was a special person to me.I will never forget the personal days he took from teaching to take me to visit colleges and meet with coaches.
Coach Thresten was more than a teacher and a great coach to me-he was a mentor and a father figure. For this, I'll be forever grateful.

To the Thresten Family:
Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss. Lenny was a wonderful friend to my father, and one of the kindest men I knew growing up. Whether it was at a sporting event or teaching history out in Mod II, he always had a smile or a joke to make the day brighter. He was one of my favorite teachers, and I know my siblings felt the same way.
May you take comfort in knowing how many lives he positively influenced. He, and all of you, are in my family's thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Amy Rusiloski

A Bad day at Black Rock (as he would say). Mr. Thresten is gone...I can still see him pacing in the classroom giving us notes and time to write them down. He gave everyone a chance to succeed. A great guy.
