Marcella Jones Obituary
Dr. Marcella A. "Marcie" Jones died July 15, 2024.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert L. Jones; sisters: Louise Yerabeck and Mildred Evans; and brother, Thomas Kozmoski.
Her children are: Jennifer Jones (David Rittenhouse, stepdaughter Rebecca Rittenhouse); and Janice Jones (Tom Transue, and sons Owen and Simon Transue).
Marcie was formerly of Sweet Valley and Forty Fort. She enjoyed painting and was a professor at College Misericordia (now Misericordia University).
Contributions may be made to The Nature Conservancy in her memory.
Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12th St., Hazleton, is in charge of the arrangements.
