Mary Morgan Obituary
Mary Naomi Morgan, 95, formerly of Birchwood Hills, Plains Township, died Sunday, July 31, 2016.
Born Feb. 22, 1921, in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late John B. and Marie H. Scureman. Naomi was a graduate of Meyers High School and Wilkes-Barre Business College.
She formerly worked for Pennsylvania Millers Insurance Company and was a member of the Parish of St. Therese.
Her husband, Robert H. Morgan, died Jan. 5, 2010. Her brother, John B. Scureman Jr., also preceded her in death.
Naomi will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews, Carol S. Matchinga, Betsy S. Smith (Jim), J. Michael Scureman (Michele), Robert P. Scureman (Paula), and James J. Scureman.
Celebration of Naomi's life will be held with visitation beginning at 8:30 a.m. Monday at McLaughlin's, 142 S. Washington St., Wilkes-Barre, followed by a funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in the Church of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Remembrances may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Sorry for the loss of your Aunt Naomi.
Naomi and Bob, were friends of my aunt and uncle, and heard many nice stories of their many years of friendship.
