I ended up in St. Louis, so I never went to any of the Prep reunions. If I had gone, Mike would have been one of the friends I wanted to see. One of my favorite Prep memories is of us drinking beer in his Broad Street house while planning a trip to Ireland that never took place. I do hope Mike made it to Ireland before he died. He was a wonderful friend, Bill George

Mary Therese, So sorry to hear of Mike's passing. My family enjoyed you both
when you lived on Broad Street. Your car "rolling down Broad Street " was always one of my Dad's favorite stories to tell. Keeping you both in my prayers

There were these 3 Irishmen who for an entire year shared a daily commute to school with Uncle Ted. Yes, THE Uncle Ted. Two of them were still laughing years later. One of my fondest memories of Mike was him entertaining students of mine who had attended his play, Sweeney at the Gate. My deepest condolences to his wife, Mary Theresa, and the entire Cotter family who graciously welcomed a Pittston kid on their West Pittston lawn.
