Nancy F. Kemmerer

Nancy F. Kemmerer, 80, formerly of Mountain Top and 10 East South Street, Wilkes-Barre, passed away Wednesday at the Riverstreet Manor, Wilkes-Barre.
She was born Aug. 5, 1928, in Wilkes-Barre, a daughter of the late Frank and Bess McHale Bertram. Nancy was a graduate of St. Nicholas High School, Wilkes-Barre. She was formerly employed as a bookkeeper in their family business, the Henry Kemmerer & Sons Masonry Company.
Mrs. Kemmerer was a member of St. Nicholas Church, South Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre, and she was a former member of St. Jude’s Church in Mountain Top.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Stanley Flasser, and by her second husband, Henry J. (Hank) Kemmerer, in 1995; her sister, Betty Jane Cavanaugh.
Surviving are brothers-in-law Arthur Kemmerer and his wife, Ann, Hanover Township; James Kemmerer, Wilkes-Barre; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. from the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 9:30 in St. Nicholas Church, 226 South Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre.
Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call today, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
