FORTY FORT — Neil A. Walsh, 64, of Katonah, New York, passed away July 8, 2024.
Born in Kingston, Pa., to Nancy (French) Walsh and the late Robert J. Walsh, he was raised in Forty Fort. Neil attended Bishop O'Reilly High School (Kingston), received a BA in history from Boston College, and an MBA from Drexel University's LeBow College of Business.
Neil was a highly respected financial executive, entrepreneur and sales professional. He held managerial positions for Fidelity Investments in Boston and Philadelphia, was vice president of business development and client services for Charles Schwab in San Francisco and New York City, was co-founder and vice president of business development for Quest Financial Solutions and, most recently, senior financial consultant for Strategic Financial Solutions in New York City.
Neil loved reading, traveling, skiing and studying financial markets.
Neil is survived by his mother, Nancy (French) Walsh; wife, Nancy Barletta Walsh; children: Sophia, Amelia and Bryce; brother, Thomas (Ellen) Walsh; and several nephews and nieces.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Hugh B. Hughes & Son Funeral Home, 1044 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 116 Hughes St., Swoyersville. The interment will be held in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Wyoming, following the Mass.
