WANAMIE — Olivia "WeeWee" Wysocki, 71, of Wanamie, passed away on the morning of Dec. 8, 2016, at home under Hospice of the Sacred Heart.
Olivia was born on Dec. 19, 1944, and resided in Wanamie for most of her life. She graduated from Newport High School. In her final months, she lived happily with her son, Ed, daughter-in-law, Theresa, and her family.
Olivia was a loving wife, mom, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Being with her family was one of her greatest treasures in life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ed; her mother, Daisy; and her father, Joseph; her brothers, Calvin, Floyd, and Harold "Blackie" Eckrote; and her sisters, Sarah Rubright and Clara "Sis" Stewart.
She is survived by her two sons, Ed and Brad Wysocki, their wives, Theresa and Abby; and her grandchildren, Lauren, Jacob, Megan, Dylan, Olivia, and Thomas. She is also survived by her brother, Joseph Eckrote; and sisters, Lydia Bujno and Millie Tronsue. Also, Janell Barna, her children, Vonn and Emma, and many other cousins, nieces and nephews. Anyone who knew Olivia knew she was funny, loving, had a big heart and cherished her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all.
The viewing will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016, at the Earl W. Lohman Funeral Home Inc., 14 W. Green St., Nanticoke. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 12, 2016, at Lohman Funeral Home Inc., followed by the burial service at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hanover Township.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore.
