Patrick Beisel Obituary

SHAVERTOWN — Patrick C. Beisel, 20, of Shavertown, went into the arms of his Lord on Thursday, Aug. 10, 2023, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, surrounded by family.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of Jeffrey Beisel of Shavertown, and Carrie Hardik Reynolds-Clark of Jonestown, Pa.

Patrick was a graduate of Dallas High School, class of 2021, where he received an academic achievement award from the Dallas School Board. Patrick was a member of Holy Family Parish in Luzerne, and a member of the Shavertown Volunteer Fire Department since 2017.

Patrick enjoyed building Legos, putting puzzles together, watching Penn State Football, Penguins Hockey, Philadelphia Phillies Baseball, Philadelphia Eagles Football and HGTV. He will be greatly missed by his companion, Jake (his cat).

Patrick was preceded in death by grandfather Mark Hardik of Dallas.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his paternal grandparents: Gary and Diane Beisel of Wyoming; maternal grandmother, Karen Hardik of Binghamton N.Y.; great-grandmother, Hope Beisel of Shavertown; aunt, Rebecca Stoddard (Steve Hater) of LaPlata, Md.; aunt, Nicole Harris (Jeremy) of Shavertown; brother, Jameson Reynolds of Jonestown; cousins: Sydney Stoddard, Levi and Ellie Harris,

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, Aug. 16, at 10:15 a.m. from Holy Family Parish, 574 Bennett St., Luzerne. Msgr. David L. Tressler and Deacon Peter Smith will serve as officiants. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Pringle.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to all of his physicians, nurses, therapists and aides who cared for him over the years.

Memorial donations may be made to Shavertown Volunteer Fire Department in Patrick's name.
