NANTICOKE — Patrick A. Koons, 30, of Nanticoke, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018.
He was born at Bloomsburg Hospital and was the son of Jay Koons and Christine Lotka Koons. Patrick was a graduate of Northwest.
Patrick was employed as a warehouse manager for Ashley Furniture in Wilkes-Barre. He was a talented musician and skateboarder. Patrick was a kind and caring person and was loved by all. He loved and took care of everyone in his life. Patrick was a avid Marvel fan and attended every early premiere. Patrick was also a member of Stillwater Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Basil Balaker and Ernest Koons.
Presently surviving are his parents, Jay and Christine Koons; brothers William Koons and wife Jodi, of Dallas, Matthew Koons and Bree Wincek, of Nanticoke, and James Koons, also of Nanticoke; his nephews, Jacob, Zachary and Matty; and his niece, Bella Cox.
A celebration of Patrick's life will be held at noon Saturday, Dec. 1, in First Presbyterian Church, Mountain Top, followed by a luncheon.
