Peter Tanski Obituary
PITTSTON — Peter Tanski Jr., 69, of Pittston, died Aug. 27, 2018. Surviving is his wife, Patricia (Luvender) Tanski. A Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 a.m. Friday in Queen of the Apostles Parish Church, 715 Hawthorne St., Avoca. Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until service time Friday. Arrangements are made by Kiesinger Funeral Services Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea.

Jr, my baby brother, your Godmother, Aunt Caroline, who turns ninety on Sunday, called me to say how sad she was at your leaving us....you were her only Godchild. We talked, laughed, and cried, remembering some of your childish times: her sticking her tongue out at you though ourkitchen window and you throwing an object at her and breaking that window; our Grandpa Corcoran asking you to clean his flse teeth for five bucks, and you happily agreeing until you got those slimy teeth in your hands and threw them into the sink as fast as you could; and, you and me, putting chunks of coal into her roller skates so she wouldn't go skating with her friends at Town Hall.....oh, Pete, I remember walking you up to kindergarten at Sacred Hearts and rushing to get back to St John's, right across from home, and hearing from Mom how you followed right behind me and show up at our house because you knew Ma was missing you. Now you are home with Mom, Dad, wayne and Bev, at peace. I am left with my silly memories....so thank you so much for all of those....good and bad....I love you, embrace you, and will have you on my mind every day as I always have, no matter where I was in the world. You are my first sibling and always will be.....good bye Jungua....
