Raymond Perry Obituary
SHICKSHINNY — Raymond Aaron Perry, 26, of Shickshinny, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 20, 2014, due to a motor vehicle accident.
Mr. Perry was born in Kingston on Sept. 2, 1987, a son of Joseph and Marcy Brown Perry of Shickshinny.
Raymond graduated from Lake-Lehman High School in 2006 and received a bachelor's degree from Penn State Wilkes-Barre in criminal justice. He was employed by Mohegan Sun in Plains Township. Raymond enjoyed motorcycle rides, garage time and spending time with friends and family. He also tolerated family farming activities. Everyone loved his laugh while he was watching comic media and live shows. Raymond could name any car make, model and price as it drove by.
He will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Joseph M. Perry; and maternal grandfather, Evan R. Brown Jr.
In addition to his parents, Ray is survived by brothers, Ryan and Robert Perry, both at home; paternal grandmother, Faye Perry, Carverton; and maternal grandmother, Geraldine Brown, Dallas. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with David Martin, pastor of the Cross Creek Community Church, Carverton, officiating. Interment will be in the Bloomingdale Cemetery, Ross Township. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Ray we worked together at Mohegan but I never realized that we were probably in the nursery together at Nesbitt Hospital since you were born the 2nd and I was born the 4th we were nursery roomies you were a great guy and fun to work with and I will think of you every time I hear a fast car go by.

I did not know Ray personally but I graduated with Ryan and was buddies with him through out middle and high school. My heart breaks for your family. We do not know this family, but would like to pass on our condolences for such a tragic loss of a young life. We too lost our child also born in 1987 in 2008 in an unfortunate accident. Ray was a "Ray of sunshine" always happy and always keeping us laughing with his stories. Anyone who knew him, loved him and he will be so deeply missed.
