I met Dr. Roe in 1977 when I started to work at Midland Hospital Center. He was a kind, caring obstetrician who provided excellent care to his patients - while also quietly supporting the nurses who worked there - and was always teaching the residents. His smile always lit up the room!

To the family of Dr. Roe,
My sincerest condolences on your loss. Dr. Roe delivered my daughter in 1988 after a very complicated and difficult pregnancy. He was so very kind and compassionate and always put me at ease every time I felt scared, which was a lot. I could not have asked for a better doctor. He literally saved my life and my daughter´s, and I will always be eternally grateful to him. May he rest in peace.

Dr. Roe delivered our son on December 4 and then proceeded to tell us that "someone else has a birthday today". It was his own birthday! He will always have a special place in our hearts.
