WEST WYOMING — Ronald P. Weaver, Sr., 80, of West Wyoming, passed away on Monday, Dec. 2, 2024, at Embassy of East Mountain, Wilkes-Barre.
He was born in Noxen, PA, to the late Charles and Letha Space Weaver. Ronald graduated from Lake-Lehman High School in 1962 and went to serve our country in the U.S. Navy. He started his career at Nelson's Furniture, United Foundry, then re-enlisted into the Reserves, Tobyhanna Army Depot, where he was employed for 30 years. Ronald enjoyed spending his time with his best friends at Doug Confletti's garage.
In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley; daughters, Beverly Levandosky, and Tracy Weaver; brothers Carl and Ralph Weaver; sister, Phyllis Keller, and granddaughter Tara Lynn Grob.
Ronald is survived by his sister, Ruth Siglin, Noxen and brother, David Weaver (Delores), Tunkhannock; children, Patti Weaver (David), Exeter, and Ronald P. Weaver, Jr., (Tina), Exeter, grandchildren, David Weaver, Jr. (Amber), Exeter, Stephanie Michael (Mike), Autumn Weaver, Zach Weaver (Angelina), Jessica Weaver, Joshua Weaver (Ashley), and Kaylee Zeller; 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service for Ronald on Friday, Dec. 20, 2024 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home Inc., 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.

Met Ron when we started a carpool to Tobyhanna Army depot. He soon became a good friend. Rest in peace Ron, you will always be remembered and missed.
