Ross Andrew Spencer, 62, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 26, 2026. Ross passed peacefully in his sleep at his home in Dallas.
Born in Kingston on Feb. 9, 1964, he was the son of Geraldine and Willard Spencer.
He was a graduate of Dallas High School, Class of 1982. He holds a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University, Class of 1990. He was also very involved with Fellowship Church and the Worship Team as the "Sound Guy."
Ross spent his early years dreaming up new skateboard ramps and cruising on his board in his childhood home in Dallas. His love of the sport was seen from Dallas to Danville and eventually down to Ocean City, Md., where he spent countless summers throughout his life.
Anyone who knew Ross could find him caring for his patients at Ross Spencer Chiropractic, and he was affectionately known as "The World's Most Friendliest Chiropractor." He could also be found spending time taking care of his family or helping someone in need. Most of all, Ross was known for his love of Jesus Christ, which he would show to any and all who crossed his path. He would show Christ's love in his life to anyone who was in need and through his various roles in the ministry at Fellowship Church. His love for family extended beyond to his friends and his patients, whom he also treated as part of his family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Willard Spencer, 2021, and Geraldine Spencer, 2023.
Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Kim Spencer; children, Marilyn and Mindy Spencer; sister, Lori Rhubright Spencer and her husband, Wes Rhubright, of Harrisburg; and niece, Emilee Bowers (Rhubright).
Those who were closest to him will remember him as a loving husband, father, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, friend, and much, much more.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Fellowship Church, 45 Hildebrandt Road, Dallas. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Snowdon Funeral Home, 140 N. Main St., Shavertown.
