Gary Spencer Obituary
He leaves behind three children, Annie Spencer of London, KY, Ruby Hale & husband Austin of Williamsburg, KY, Roseann Spencer & fiancé Austin Doney of Corbin, KY; two siblings, Rose Ann Colwell of London, KY, Hurbert Spencer & wife Beverly of Corbin, KY; two grandchildren, Cheyenne Hale, James Doney; plus a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends to cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eli & Annie Elizabeth Morgan Spencer; two siblings, Charles Spencer, William Spencer; and by his nephew, Billy Spencer.
Gary spent much of his life working in mobile home transport with George Humfleet Mobile Homes, where he was known for his strong work ethic and reliability. He took pride in his work and the life he built through it.
Outside of work, Gary found his greatest happiness in the outdoors. He loved fishing, tending to his garden, and enjoying the peace that nature brought him. These quiet moments were where he felt most at home.
Above all, he cherished the companionship of his beloved dog, Bentley, who brought him constant joy and loyalty.
Gary will be remembered for his steady presence, his love for the simple things in life, and the bond he shared with those closest to him.
The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
