Oh, how I remember Ruthie in Perugino's Villa! Always with a smile, an upsweep hairdo, a snappy remark and the swish, swish of her skirt as she headed back to the kitchen to get a special something for me and my husband, Jim Loftus. She would join right in with the lively banter during all those years we and our friends went there...practically every day after work for a libation and dinner before heading home to Harveys Lake. We considered her part of the family and we mourned with her when Phil died and felt lousy when the restaurant burned to the ground and we lost Tony and Larry (the chef) and Buddy and all our friends to other places that just weren't the same. We then had only memories. Ruthie was fabulous and I've missed her all these years. Her death just makes her absence worse. My heartfelt condolences to her family on the loss of one of its brightest wonders. Sadly, Barbara Loftus Edwards
