Timothy Reap Obituary

Timothy "Tim" Joseph Reap, 58, of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 22, 2025, after a long illness.

Born June 6, 1967, in Scranton, Tim was the beloved son of Joseph Reap and Judith MacDonald Reap. He graduated from James M. Coughlin High School in 1985 and earned his degree from King's College in 1990.

A passionate sports enthusiast, Tim was an ardent supporter of the Dallas Cowboys, Penn State Nittany Lions, Philadelphia Phillies and Kentucky Wildcats. His love for the Cowboys, in particular, left a lasting impression — one for which many family members lovingly hold him responsible.

Tim was a devoted and loving father. He proudly passed on his passion for athletics to his children, and was actively involved in coaching baseball and soccer, sharing his time, energy and support.

Professionally, Tim was a gifted and charismatic salesman. He resided for many years in Mount Juliet, TN, and excelled in his career, earning accolades and awards — including incentive trips to Hawaii — a testament to his natural ability and dedication.

Tim is survived by his children, Connor Reap and wife, Jordyn, and their son Callum; Kyle Reap and fiancée, Odalis Martinez; Kaitlyn Reap; and Kallie Reap; sister, Bridget Reap; brother, Martin Reap; and loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Tim will be remembered for his vibrant spirit, quick wit and gift of conversation. His presence brought warmth, laughter and energy to every room. He leaves behind a legacy of love, humor and cherished memories.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 14, in St. Maria Goretti Church, 42 Redwood Drive, Laflin, with Father Alex Roche, Pastor, officiating. The Parish Rosary Group will recite the Divine Mercy Chaplet and Rosary in the Church 30 minutes before the Funeral Mass. All are invited to join them. Private Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may call from 9 a.m. to service time. Arrangements are entrusted to Corcoran Funeral Home Inc., 20 S. Main St., Plains Township. Memorial donations may be made at livelikebrent.com.

Mr. & Mrs. Reap, Dear Bridget & and Marty. I almost fell out of my chair this morning while reading Tim's Obit. I understand the grief you all are feeling. I haven't seen Tim in a long, long time and have thought of our times together way back when we used to share a now razed brick derelict structure in Myers Court that we named Sesame Street in the vicinity of Kings. I was unaware of his illness and surely thought Tim would out live me but that's another story in itself. Anyway, I can always appreciate Tim for always being cordial to me during the time I spent at your home. Most older Brothers usually aren't wired like that. In time, I pray that you can all find peace and comfort knowing that Tim is now with our Lord and hopefully giving Regal the Beagle forever belly rubs up there in Heaven. God Speed Reaper, see you down the road! Once again, my sincere condolences to you all.
