Zachary Erwine Obituary
WAPWALLOPEN — Zachary Michael Erwine, 23, of Wapwallopen, returned to our Lord Sept. 12, 2022. He was born Jan. 28, 1999, in Wilkes-Barre. He was a loving grandson, son, brother, cousin and nephew who loved animals. He had an engineering mind, which he used during volunteer work through Habitat for Humanity, volunteering with local fire departments and Boy Scouts of America. He was a graduate of Camp Cadet, an altar server at St. Mary's Parish in Dorrance, and attended St. Jude's School, Holy Redeemer High School and Greater Nanticoke Area High School.
Zachary was preceded in death by his loving great-grandparents, Andrew and Leonna Ostraszewski. He is survived by his grandparents, Bill and Joanna Erwine; mother, Carrie Erwine; sister Cady Erwine; great aunt and uncle, Jack and Elaine Polak; aunts and and uncles, Bill and Alicia, Lisa and Matthew and Shannon Erwine; cousins Kevin Nam, Jenny, Grady and Oliver Bagwell, Sierra, Chelsea, Kaitlyn, Brayden and Connor Erwine.
Viewing will be held from 2 to 4 on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022, at McCune Funeral Home in Mountain Top. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 19, 2022, at St. Mary's Church in Dorrance. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

I remember me and Cady , Zac's sister, made a paper salad when we were younger and we asked Zac if he wanted any and so we threw a few pieces of paper salad down to him, i also remember him in the kitchen and i ran and gave him a hug.
