Charley Ann Stoffel Obituary
Charley Ann is survived by her children Dede Deatrick of Rancho Mirage, CA, Thomas Stoffel of Payson, AZ, Julie Brooks of Indianapolis, IN, Janey Yates of Talladega, AL, and her sister, Lee Kellogg of Decatur, IL, as well as 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Thomas Edward Stoffel, her son, Charles Dale Stoffel, her parents, Charles and Florence Bliss, and brothers Dale Bliss, Lee Bliss, Ernie Bliss, and Lonnie Haptonstall.
She spent her last 2 years living lakeside in Talladega, AL, with her daughter and son-in-law, Janey and Patrick Yates, who were at her bedside for her beautiful and peaceful final moments.
Charley Ann exemplified love, gratitude, kindness and faith. Her legacy will live on forever, continuously inspiring us all to "Live and Love Like Charley."
Visitation will be held at Eternal Hills Mortuary in Oceanside, CA, from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 29th. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mark's Catholic Church in San Marcos, CA, at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 1st, with internment immediately following at Eternal Hills Memorial Park. No reception is scheduled at this time.
In honor of Charley Ann and her love of all things spring, cheerful colors & florals are the preferred service attire.
