John Isitt Obituary

On May 14, 2025, the world lost a kind and loving soul, John James Isitt, at the age of 70. He was born on July 9, 1954 in Fullerton, to Marie and John Isitt. He lived in Diamond Bar and Thousand Oaks before retiring with his wife to Ramona. John was a 1972 graduate of San Pedro High School. California became his true north. He was enchanted by its allure and embraced every aspect of life here, choosing to remain and create a life filled with joy and contentment. John married his wife, Hanna, at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, California. Together, they shared a life full of adventure and love.

John had a lifelong love for knowledge. He pursued higher education and later returned to teach Biology as an esteemed alumni at Cal State Long Beach. He was a Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) professional with over thirty years experience in Biotech/Pharma, healthcare management, observational research, and medical research developing and executing strategic evidence generation plans with clinical trial and real world data, demonstrating product value for access and reimbursement. His sharp problem-solving skills and attention to detail earned him respect in every endeavor he took on.

More than anything, John was a man of adventure. He had an infectious love for life, travel, and exploration, embracing the world both near and far. He raced motocross in his youth. Later in life, his love for motorcycles was a cherished bond he shared with his son, Michael. Whether traveling internationally or enjoying the simplicity of a quiet day with his family, John's spirit was one of boundless enthusiasm and warmth.

John is survived by his wife, Hanna; son, Michael Isitt; sister, Sara Colmery; brothers, James Isitt and Benjamin Isitt; nieces, Gina Bosotina and Lisa Colmery; and grandchildren, Emily and Joshua. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marie and John Isitt; and his son, John Isitt.

John will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. He had a heart of gold and a spirit that could light up any room. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Whoa, this is truly shocking, me, John and Trent used to get up to some high old times back in the day, I can't think of a cat who was more alive than John was back in the day, I am decimated by this news.
