Alice Rose "Rosie" Parisi Piocquidio
Hopewell Twp. - Alice Rose "Rosie" Parisi Piocquidio, 87, of Hopewell Township, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.
Born August 26, 1933, Rosie was the daughter of the late Antonio and Sarah Alice Parisi. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Anthony "Sunshine" Piocquidio, a sister, Catherine Parisi Ketchel, and two brothers, Michael Parisi and Ernest Parisi.
Rosie was a 1951 graduate of Hopewell High School. She was a member of St. Titus Catholic Church. Rosie worked at J&L Steel where she met the "Sunshine" of her life.
She later worked at Hopewell Hallmark and Vater's Hardware. She enjoyed Bingo, senior citizen trips, and casino gambling. However, Rosie's favorite past-time was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Rosie is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law; Anthony J. (Christina) Piocquidio, John R. (Rebecca) Piocquidio and Thomas (Lanessa) Piocquidio; grandchildren; Anthony J. (Kristen) Piocquidio, Jr., Justin (Liz) Piocquidio, Amy (Jason) Kemper, Dean Piocquidio, Nathan Piocquidio, Gianna Piocquidio, and Mia Piocquidio; great grandchildren; Anthony J. Piocquidio, III, and Sean A. Kemper, as well as many incredible and caring nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Rosie's caregivers, Diane and Kelsey. We are eternally grateful.
A private service will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021, at TATALOVICH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC.,2205 McMinn St., Aliquippa, PA, 15001, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Titus Catholic Church in Aliquippa, PA.
Rosie's smile, spunk, and kindness will be sadly missed by her family and all who loved her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Titus Catholic Church, Aliquippa, PA.
