Formerly of Aliquippa
Mr. George Mike Jr., 79, formerly of Aliquippa, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2020, in the comfort of his home.
Born September 26, 1940, in Damascus, Ga., to Mary Cook and the late George Mike Sr. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed playing and watching sports. George was a loving father and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Sweetie Mike and Robert Cook; a sister, Betty Cottman; and a daughter, Taren Mike of New Jersey.
Surviving are three loving brothers, Willie Davis (Sylvia), John Davis (Nadine), and Thomas Cook, (Karen); three loving sisters, Mary Greer, Bertha Daramay and Callie Padgett; three sons, George Mike (Yuronne), Pittsburgh, Pa., and George Powell and Troy Simmons, both of Aliquippa; devoted friends, Venita Mike and Juanita Simmons; along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
A private family funeral will be held and a private interment will follow.
The family has entrusted services to PITTS FUNERAL HOME OF ALIQUIPPA, 920 Franklin Ave., Antonio Pitts, Funeral Director.
