Joseph Catroppa Obituary
Aliquippa - Joseph "JoJo" F. Catroppa, 42 of Aliquippa, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes Sunday July 25, 2021 in his home.
Born April 26, 1979, in Rochester, Pa, he was the son of Yvonne (Kaminsky) Catroppa and the late Joseph P. Catroppa, Jr. JoJo was a member of St. Titus Catholic Church, Aliquippa, a 1997 graduate of Aliquippa High School, a 2001 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, and a member of the MPI Club, Aliquippa.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his brother Frank A. Catroppa, Moon Twp., a nephew Frank A. Catroppa, Jr., a niece Giovanna J. Catroppa: aunts and uncles Joyce (Bob) Santia and Janice (George) Bobich all of Aliquippa, Theresa Houge, Monaca, Carol (Andy) Lancos, Center Twp, Nancy Pranskey, Monaca, and Tom Kaminsky, Monaca: Godchildren Frankie, G.G., Carmine and Ily Grace: many loving cousins: and his dog Bella.
JoJo was preceded in death by his father Joseph P. Catroppa, Jr. in 2002: his paternal grandparents Joseph P. , Sr. and Flossie Catroppa: and his maternal grandparents Joseph and Louise Kaminsky, and aunt and uncle Marie and Yudy Kalidonis..
Friends will be received Wednesday July 28, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Tatalovich Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 3475 Brodhead Rd., CENTER TWP. Friends will gather at St. Titus Catholic Church on Thursday July 29, 2021 where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 am.
Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Hopewell Twp.
"To the world you maybe one person; but to one person you are the world"! JoJo had a soft and gentle spirit and will be sadly missed by all who loved and new him.
