Lucy Cassidy
Ambridge - Lucy Cassidy, 88, formerly of Ambridge, died Tuesday March 16,2021, Concordia at Villa St. Joseph. Born February 3,1933, Ambridge, she was the daughter of the late Stefano and Mary Messia Longo. She was a member of Good Samaritan Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Cassidy, two brothers, Michael and Jack Longo, one sister, Pauline Pless. Surviving are one son, Joseph Cassidy, Pittston,Pa., three daughters and sons-in-law, Colleen and Victor "Bud" Bennett, Beaver Falls, Patty Janas, Robinson Twp., Sandy and Robert Chiocchi, Center Twp., two sisters, Anna Mae Carrodus, Center Twp., Marie Asafaylo, Ambridge, special friend, Minnie Baker, Baden, 11 Grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday March 18,2021 from 3-7 BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES,INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held Friday March 19,2021 at 9:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am, Good Samaritan Church. Interment will follow Good Samaritan Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sisters of St. Joseph.
