Robert Newman Obituary
Daugherty Township - Robert V. Newman, 78, of Daugherty Township, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Elmcroft of Chippewa. He was born February 13, 1943 in Monaca, son of the late Henry and Ethel (Vogt) Newman. Robert was a graduate of Monaca High School and Geneva College. He taught Math for 30 years in the Big Beaver Falls School District.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a twin brother who passed at birth; and his brothers Henry Newman, Jr. and Donald Newman.
Robert is survived by his wife: Karen Newman; two sons: Kirk (Holly) Newman, Beaver Falls; Kenneth (Trisha) Newman, Saegertown, PA; his daughter: Adrienne (Eric) Murchland, Mt. Airy, NC; and stepdaughter: Erin (Bryan) Salada, Beaver Falls, PA; seven grandchildren: Kayli Newman, Kiersten Newman, Brooke Newman, Van Newman, Amber Murchland, Ashley Murchland and Aubree Hupp; his sister: Olive Tyson; and brother: Harry (Jane) Newman as well as extended family.
Friends will be received on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m., at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). Private interment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
If desired, memorial contributions may be directed to the Beaver County Humane Society. The family would like to thank the staffs of Elmcroft of Chippewa and Grane Hospice for their kindness and compassionate care. On line condolences may be offered at www.saul-gabauer.com
