I don't remember what I said about Sandra last year. Im sure I told about her hosting my wedding shower. She was a 4th grade SS teacher in the Children's Bldg when I met her in 1978. When I married Bill the next year I joined the team and fell in love with the "mission' visionary she was. I was blessed with my own mother's dedication to missions growing up, but she passed away too soon. I had found someone like my mother. Sandra pulled me into WMU quickly. She was the personification of missions in my life as an adult and we enjoyed many good times together. Thank you, God, for memories of people who modeled Perfection in lives of young adults like me.

We so much enjoyed our friendship with Sandra and Ray. They were both a lot of fun and we enjoyed several trips with them. Later on we made numerous day trips to places of interest in the area. Sandra was an inspiration with her love for missions. She held true to the calling that she had as a little girl, to tell others about the Lord. We miss them both, but, know they are with the Lord, in a far better place. May the Lord be with this wonderful family they leave behind.

Sandra was always been a role model for me in my young married life. She hosted my wedding sbower on Kessler st. She showed my how to be a good WMU lady. It was always a pleasure to sit and visit with Sandra. One day a few years ago I asked my friend Joan if we could go see Sandra. She told me that they had moved to Arkansas. That's the day I cried. I knew I would never see her again. She is now in the presence of her God and King. And sweet Ray. God bless all of the family in your loss. Sandra and Ray are a legacy to treasure.
