I only knew him as Bud. He lived a few houses down from us on 37th Street. He played 1st base on our softball team, Hillcrest Baptist Church in Wichita Falls. My last memory of him was when he came to our house to show us the engagement ring he had just bought.

Brother Bud was our pastor while he was at Dean. During this time their first child arrived. He said he knew nothing about babies and he would come to our house and ask my husband questions about taking care of a new baby. Funerals are very hard for pastors, so I would try to have them to our house for supper after he had to conduct a funeral. We also sent money every month to help them for their mission in Canada. Special memories and sadness at his passing.

Sadness to Bud's family. We consider Bud a friend and have many fond memories of him. It was a surprise to learn of his death and send our sympathies to his family. The Murphys Don and Sharon

Mr. Bud was a sweet and caring man. He dotted on his wife Cindy. He was a joy to know and a pleasure to work with. He will be missed, and heaven certainly has gained an angel. Prayers, peace and love to the family.
